When people think of the colors of Autumn it’s often with the trees. The Eastern Shore of Maryland has an agriculture economy with many different crops growing in the fields. When traveling on the Chesapeake Country Roads throughout the growing season, May through September, the fields are often changing. And these fields are the first to show the color changes.

I enjoy traveling these roads as much in October, maybe even more, than I do during the Summer Months. I encourage you to take a slow ride and enjoy the sights. Ones like this don’t stay very long.
