A few days ago I was looking out the window and saw these clouds. Some may like a day with clear blue skies. I actually like clouds and I do like to have them in my photos. Sometimes as in these the clouds are featured.

This was another view from my office.

I had been looking for a nice location to capture a browning corn field for an autumn photo. I finally found a location where I could capture one from the road. There are a few clouds in this photo, but I would have liked more.

I suppose I could add a sky with more clouds into the photo, but I prefer my photos to be what I see, and not manipulated.

I decided to take a back road in Cecil County and I saw this barn and just had to stop to capture it.

It made for an even better stop when I saw this crop-duster plane flying around.

While this photo and the next weren’t taken on the same trip as the others, it was along the path I followed for them. This shot was taken in Betterton during their Bluegrass and Brews festival.

And this was in Galena, I was standing in the parking lot and looked up to see this small cloud formation between the trees.

I’ve been wondering if I should do a set of Note Cards featuring clouds. What do you think?

About the Sunday (Which may be closer to a Monday) Posts
Nearly three years ago I began doing a series of posts I called “Drives with Steve” on my photography Website, SGAtkinson.com. The idea was to take a drive from my home in Chestertown to an randomly selected location and take photographs along the way.

This eventually turned into the “Points of Interest” series. Along the way I’ve captured a pretty wide range of photos.

For the past several months I have been doing posts on each Sunday that I have been terming,”Drives with Steve” and have tried to have recent one every week. Over these past few there has been a few things that have made these weekly trips difficult to do. One of the biggest has been, in a word, inflation. Especially the price of gas. The cost for these trips have nearly doubled.

I have decided to only do one “Drives with Steve” post a month, on the first Sunday of the Month. What will be appearing on the other Sundays?

“Points of Interest” on the Second Sunday, “Common Series” on the Third Sunday and “Over the Years on the Fourth Sunday.

My Thanks goes out to all who are constant visitors. I am grateful for all of the support I am receiving.
