July 2021 – Update

Ferry Point Park

In my last update I had said I would be able to spend more on this project in July. I should have knowed better, since I have two Volunteer events that happen every July. However I did get a few things accomplished. Especially since one of these volunteer events is the Kent County Fair, which I spent many hours photographing the activities.

If this was my only project, I would be further along than I am. Even though I consider myself as a semi-retired photographer, June came closer to an 40 hour of week job then the 16-20 that I usually devote to it. And I have been involved as part of the planning committees of a couple of events happening this summer and early fall. I am hoping to be able to spend more time with it in July.

I had planned to finish and have available a 16 Month, 2021-22 Calendar and will have it available by July 20th. I was a little late and it will be officially published early in August. This is one of the photos selected for the Calendar

I will be adding more Greeting Cards set soon. This one is currently available

Chesapeake Country Roads Cards

Have you seen the weekly Chesapeake Country Road photograph I publish on Thursdays. Some of these will be current photo and others will be from the my archive of photos. Many I’m sure will be appearing in the proposed Photo-Book. Nearly all are available a Wall Art. Contact me at ChesapeakeRoads@ShoreToBeFun.com for more information.

Beginning last fall on my business Web site I began doing photo-essays of ‘Points of Interest’ At the beginning of the year these were moved to ChesaDel Crier and have been published weekly there, currently on Sunday. Since these Photo-Essays will be the basis of portions of the upcoming Photo-Book I have decided to re-post them here. These will appear each Sunday.

Anytime of the year is a great time to take a trip on one of the Chesapeake Country Roads. The summertime views can be awesome, but often aren’t seen since most of the traveling to the beach resorts are on the major roads. Why not venture off the main roads and see the sights of the Eastern Shore?

Use the hashtag #ChesapeakeCountryRoads or @ShoreToBeFunon Instagram to follow me there.

If you have any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you.

Have a Great August exploring the Chesapeake Country Roads of Maryland’s Eastern Shore
