Have you ever ridden past something a couple of dozen times only to see something in a different. That is exactly what happen with me with this barn on MD480 approaching the Town of Ridgely.

One day I started to see a face. Two eyes that don’t match, a mouth and nose.  Of course once I saw the face I could no longer see it as just an old barn.  I call him Barny. Of course once you see something, you can’t unsee it. Every time I go past now I think to myself what kind of stories he can tell about his adventures with his friends. I’m sure there are many to be told.

On your way on MD404 on your way to the beach you can see Barny. Just turn onto MD480 to Ridgely. While there stop to see the Ridgely Train Station and grab a sandwich or Ice Cream at the Ridgely Ice Cream Parlor.

Or you can travel a few more miles to Greensboro and visit the Chesapeake Country Roads section at Eclectic Gift Shop – 103 West Sunset.
