Another month has passed. Although March ended more like an Lion than a lamb it’s obvious that Spring is pushing aside winter.
It’s been a good month here on Chesapeake Country. Most of the Drives have been current photos, not ones pulled out of the archives. As have been the Photos of the Week. Views of the Website have been increasing as well.
This month I added another feature day. Tuesday’s Marker. Every Tuesday a photo and some information on one of Highway Historical Signs you see briefly as you travel pass by them at speeds too fast to read much more than the title. If even that.
I’m sure that April will be even better. I hope to spend some time at locations on Chesapeake Country to continue to have fresh Drives photos. The Drives will be more like walks showing “Points of Interest” that I hope that travelers will take a few minutes to stop and see. Actually “Points of Interest” may be a better title for the Sunday Drives, but for now I’ll keep it as it is.
I am hoping that beginning in May I can do some “Day trip” of places to visit with the target of posting a “Day Trip” once a month. I’m still working on the planning as well as finding a partner to take those trips with me. I am still looking for my Muse.
The biggest NEWS for April will be the Launch of the eCommerce store. It’s a rebranding of Delmarva Scenes and will have Greeting Cards (set of eight, with a theme) and a few canvases and prints. While the Canvases will be once purchased it’s gone, the same photos will be available as prints. In one of three sizes, 8×10, 11×14 and 13×19.
