In 2017 just before Super Bowl LI a video tribute to America to the Johnny Cash song Ragged Old Flag was played. The old Queen Anne’s County Courthouse is the courthouse shown in the video. At the time the Court House was the oldest still being used in the United State, having its opening on June 1, 1796.

This photo is one taken the morning after the old girl appearance in the video is one of many photos I have taken during the years.

At 8:30am on Monday, June 17, 2019 a new Court House across the street opened its door to the public.

In 2020 the old white paint was removed from the Court House during a process to repaint her. However there was public outcry and it was decided to leave the old bricks bare. Here is a recent photo of the Court House.

I’m not really sure which is better.
