African Violets are delightful houseplants and one of my Grandmother’s favorite flowers. She kept them in a big picture window. For awhile during the last days of her life I was one of her caregivers. Her african violets sat in the window next to the chair where I sat with her. This photo was taken in mid-January, just a few months before she passed.
